Sunshine and Shade

We had an amazing day today! Blue skies from start to finish, perfect snow, pistes like white carpets and for the first hour we almost had the slopes to ourselves. Skiing doesn't get any better than that! We then hooked up with some friends and skìed with them until lunchtime. SwissPiper was still having problems with her binding; so after a fine lunch on the sunny terrace, it was back to the shop again! Fingers crossed we think/hope that the problem is solved. Then we shot off to the valley bottom to fit in a quick cross-country ski. The photograph is of our village and the slopes above. To round off the day we are going to listen to the resident Irish Band and maybe a few drinks, not too many as off ski touring in the morning.
