Hard Rain

Ever since we moved in here I've had the feeling that the water pressure was rubbish.

If you flush the loo, you have to wait until the cistern is full again before trying to wash your hands.  And if you were having a shower and someone flushed the loo somewhere else in the house, then you'd have to wait until that cistern was full and the shower started coughing water over you again.

A chance conversation with a neighbour uncovered the fact that this is not an uncommon phenomema in our little street.  "Get a plumber to change the filter" they said.  And we did.

Ooh. The difference was like Night & Day*.

We now have superpower showers.

The song in the link above has nothing to do with showers, it's just a lovely song.  I do like a Cole Porter song.  And Fred & Ginger? Well that's just like G & me...
