Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

Obsolutely no camera movement today. With my favourite manual lens: the series E 50mm f 1.8. I have the lens profile set in the camera so it's like using a film camera but with instant results: set ISO and forget about it; set aperture with an actual aperture ring; adjust exposure and forget about it; focus, and release the shutter. The shutter will release whether or not the subject is in focus even if shutter is set to release only when focus is found. The only thing missing is the ground glass focusing circle . . . what else? What could be simpler? Am I forgetting something?

My day began catching up with yesterday's news. Interesting clip of a conversation with the Queen talking about the weight of the imperial crown and how the shape of her head was similar to her father's.
Funeral Mass for Johnny Chavez . . . walked Kiki by the river after lunch; and then again spending too much time looking at old photos and browsing Blip. I must make some time for reading . . .
