The mercury is rising

At 8am, the outdoor thermometer reading was 26C and was rising fast. It was going to be a stinker of a day.
By 12noon, it was 37.3C.
At 4pm, 36C. Thinking "tonight is going to be a very warm night".
At 5pm a light breeze turning into a gale blowing from the South westerly. 
At 7 pm, the temperature now reads 25C, wow a dropped in 10C in less than 2 hours. 

D was madly watering her seedlings (avocado) etc trying to save them from drying out. Thank goodness we had a large reserved of water from a few weeks ago's downpour.
