Upheaval

Storm Eleanor barrelled along the French coast just under a week before we arrived here for our annual January break. We were shocked by how much damage there was - a large section of the digue, the promenade on the front which also acts as a seawall, had been completely broken up. I've added a photo (not mine) as an extra to show what the storm looked like at its height. Work on clearing the debris has already begun - we will be back in May and looking forward to seeing how it's progressed.
