Watching from above

A pleasantly lazy Sunday, for once!

Two short walks with MrM and Louie. The sun put in a brief appearance during the first, in the morning, on Wooler Common. A red squirrel was busy fetching nuts from one of the feeders, then running across the ground to store them - it repeated the exercise a couple of times while this little guy watched from above. Until MrM went to replenish the feeder, when they both disappeared in to the treetops. The temperature had dropped by several degrees by late afternoon, when we walked on Weetwood Moor in a bitter wind.

The rest of the day was spent mostly pottering, though MrM cleared some of the debris from the 'music room' and I did a little work on the website. As I type, MrM is cooking dinner, and this evening there's an episode of Vera to watch...
