Cattle Egret

We had a short drive out this afternoon, towards one of our favourite bird hides on the Vista Bella Road. However, on the way one of the fields was flooded so we stopped and watched as Cattle Egrets flew in - from the original handful there must have been over 50 when we left. Such a joy to watch, and there were also Sandpipers, Pied Wagtails and a few Glossy Ibis.
