Kilauea

One of the most active volcanoes in the world, Kilauea has been erupting non-stop since 1983. At night the Halema'uma'u crater is an eerie sight when the lava illuminates the crater and the vapours. The viewing platform is 1,6 km from the crater. Every now and then you can see little splashes of lava squirting out of the crater.
