Garnet

Tiny Tuesday entry for the mineral theme. This ring is a family heirloom and we believe that the stone is a garnet. The ring is an amalgam ( pardon the pun ) of two rings, the provenance of which is lost to the mists of time. Thanks to Thisislife for hosting.
