Where sheep may safely graze...?

By the look of it this one had only been dead a few hours. It was lying at the edge of our little field, which we let for grazing to the farmer next door. Early this morning I had noticed a buzzard in an ash tree unusually close to the house; then this afternoon I saw a large fox stroll across the field, followed by a pair of ravens and then three magpies.
