Almost mono

Still snowing and much more to come overnight.  Around 4pm we picked E up from school.  She usually walks, but I was so glad we did; as soon as she got into the car, large hail stones began battering off the windscreen and a few minutes later there was an almighty bang and flash as a sheet of lightening was quickly followed by a very loud clap of thunder.   E is quite a nervous child  and would have been terrified if she had been on her own.
