The white stuff

3 hours to get home tonight (8 miles) as slush turned to sheet ice under car wheels.  Finally reaching the top of a hill, I abandoned the queues and went cross country, and probably saved myself an hour or two!  This doesn't look much in the photo, but it has started snowing heavily now, and apparently it is set to continue most of the night. At least it hides the messy garden! Knew I shouldn't have booked one of the cars in for an MOT tomorrow though.
