Jet Streams!

While walking in my garden this morning I saw the most wonderful jet stream  -  the sky was almost without cloud so it stood out vibrantly, so rushed for my camera and managed to get a clear shot. What you see here is actually four different shots of the same jet stream  -  I have copied each and laid them together to look like a squadron of planes. I did a bit of research of plane jet streams and discovered their correct name is 'contrails' short for 'condensation trails', and are formed when the water in jet exhaust mixes with wet cold air, and condenses and freezes into ice crystals. I reckon the cold weather we're having makes them more obvious.  Hope you like my playing about with reality:-)
