The Ticket Collector

This little robin patrols the approach to the bird hide at Wolseley Bridge and approaches each visitor in the hope of some food.  He will readily take seeds from your hand and will let you approach right up to a few inches from him.

We survived the pearl oyster mushrooms!  They were quite tasty but a bit chewy;  perhaps they needed a little more cooking.  Now to see if I can get a second crop.
