Clinging On

Not the best picture - telephoto lens, shot much cropped, taken through the dining room doors.  

But ...... I haven't set foot outside today.  We had quite a dump of snow overnight.  The sun shone this morning and a rapid thaw set in - not enough to melt the 6" still coating the drive.

 In the afternoon, another substantial fall. Just as well we didn't spend the morning shovelling!

I spent the day painting the sitting room. The light was brilliant this morning.  

More snow is forecast for this evening, we have been warned to stay off the roads. I wonder if I will make it to Edinburgh tomorrow. It's not looking hopeful, but your never know.
