Perfect Packing

Packing the perfect suitcase is a skill I honed over years of travelling on business when I worked in the motor industry. I’ve kept up the good habits of packing neatly into a small case as a means of squeezing my luggage into the boot of my MX-5.

Rolled socks inside shoes, charging cables inside spectacle cases, delicate items folded with tissue paper, linen bags for worn items, lavender sacks to keep clothes fresh - these are some of my favoured techniques.

Perhaps I would have been the perfect Lady’s Maid? This style connoisseur website has some great suggestions too. Yes I know I’m Downton Abbey obsessed, get over it!

Btw, I’m not going on holiday just packing to travel home from visiting family in Sussex.
