A myriad of hues
Splashed
On to Nature's canvas

A riot of individuality
Amongst
The banal humdrum

Superlatives splash
Wantonly
With every eye's blink

As footstep's meandering path
is wandered
Through sunlit woodland fair

Exclamations are torn
Gasping
At each turn of awe-struck face

Faces etched with rigored smiles
Carved indelibly
We retreat, cameras full

To savour in armchair's exhertion
Eyebright memories
Of Autumn's collage of colour
