Burn Line

Morning view of the Roy Range and the very considerable damage caused by the recent fire that required 8 helicopters and 5 ground crews to contain and was still being checked for hot spots just a few days ago.
The fire was caused by still hot 2 day old embers which had been left to cool for 2 days in a bucket before being dumped in a pit and because of the very dry conditions burst into flame and almost immediately become almost out of control.  Given the housing that was in the area it was only the skill of the entire team that prevented a major disaster. 

In other news it’s been a nice day with intensive garden action which is not the norm for the ‘B’s” 
There will be complaining later….I feel it in my furls.
