Amazing day

Just returned from the most amazing day out at an elephant sanctuary. After sharing lunch with 4 female elephants, but like speed dating, only quite slow. On the menu was bananas and pineapple. Our group was only small 8/9. Once you have bonded with the elephants, the day gets better as you lead them down to the river and for those brave enough (who could resist) you are allowed to go swimming with them. Before the leader had finished asking, I was stripped off and in. Wow what an experience. They were so gentle. I was quite surprised a few of the group declined. But hey more time for me and Mrs D. As a reward we were allowed to scrub their backs and ears with a scrubbing brush. A few extras, but more tomorrow. We are now being taken for a spicy Thai meal.........and the guide is laughing.....
