Rain rain go away

Slept pretty well, hub had a disturbed night, his tooth, well gap, is aching and a bit swollen today......hopefully it will settle down quickly.

We had a brunch today, fried tomatoes with green chillies on toast, very tasty! My throat is ok, not 100% but certainly no worse!

Ive been for an eye test today, a slight change to my prescription but not enough to warrant new lenses.....she said the change is a clear give away that a cataract will form in years to come. Apparently we all have them! It was wet windy and cold whilst I was out.....I did drive down into town rather than walk, hub stayed home in the warm.

We've had a meat and potato pasty for dinner, as we will be out later quizzing. Whilst getting ready to upload this shot, we have had a brief power cut.....only 15 minutes or so! I was fumbling around in the dark (long time since ive done that ;-) looking for candles in the downstairs cloakroom cupboard..... managed to get three lit just to illuminate the lounge until power was resumed, which obviously it has been now, since Im online again.

Todays blip is one of several black cats from the nearby farm, who was soaking up probably the only sun ray we had today!'

Best go and get a shower now as we are out in an hour.......
