Buddy in the Rain

Buddy is an intrepid backyard adventurer.
I noticed immediately when it started raining hard and peeked out the back door to see if he was waiting to come in.
There he was across the yard sheltering under the shrubs watching for me to appear and throw him a life-preserver.
