Monday was a very relaxing day for us.  We got to stay home together....and we LOVE that.  We did do chores....and a wee bit of homework.  We watched some of our shows, and we danced and sang to The Greatest Showman soundtrack A  LOT!  We can't get enough.  


We had  bit of a photoshoot, with Sugar being so patient while I tried to find good focus (manually) with my Velvet 56 lens again.  She is the BEST girl...and I adore her so very much.

Week 3 Technical: Full Manual

Since I fully shoot in manual all the time, so I took this challenge, and decided to use my Lensbaby Velvet 56 which can only be shot with Manual Focus. This is a challenge for me, as I struggle to find sharp focus looking through the view finder. 
If you are not familiar with the Velvet 56, it is an art lens designed to offer a dreamy effect. The challenge for me is to find the spot that I want to be in focus, and try my best. In this shot, I wanted her closed eye to be as sharp as I could get. I'm pretty happy with what I achieved at F2.8.
