Wild Walk

Beautiful walk today out to the light house on Sheeps Head peninsula, it was a farewell walk really with friends Gerry and Ilana, who will be leaving Ireland on Thursday after a stay of two and a half months. So a good blast of Atlantic air and some of the very best views the peninsula has to offer, should keep them going until they return in the spring. Much to my delight youngest daughter Rachel joined us, a rare sight indeed to see her in walking boots and carrying a ruck sack!! We were rewarded with the most wonderful sight, many dolphins breaking the surface of the wild sea, to distant to blip but best just to see and experience. This is Rachel on the home stretch, the view beyond, looking east to Bantry Bay and Beara in the mist.
Off out to the Art House movie tonight, it's all go!
