Gone Fishing

After a frosty start today was dry and mostly sunny.  I took my regular walk around our village today on the path that runs alongside the brook.  Sadly the recent strong winds have brought down a large and heavy branch that has landed on the Shenstone Crocodile (see 9 November blip) and rather spoilt it -  it is certainly suffering from a dislocated jaw!  The heron was out fishing at his usual spot and allowed me to approach him today without flying off.
