This old church in Holywood Co Down always recalls earlier days. Days when such buildings were full, when church membership was normal, when every family had their children baptised. 
Times have changed. I don't think that faith has diminished, It is rather how that faith is expressed - in whatever tradition. The Greek word we translate as church, ekklesia, means literally the ones called out - not in! 
So whatever your faith tradition, religious or otherwise, faith is only ever seen in action, action particularly towards the "other". It is lived faith, expressed faith, incarnate faith.
