Garden Club poster photo

We're holding an Antiques Appraisal Day event in April for a Garden Club fundraiser. I was asked to provide a photograph for the poster. This is something I've sent out to the Board Members today, we'll see if they approve. We have a group of appraisers and we'll be selling $10 tickets per item to be appraised. The experts don't charge for their services(hoping to find a fabulous item that they can represent for the seller with a cut for themselves) and the church hall is very affordable(where we got married). You may note that Raspberry is featured on our current program cover(per demand), tucked among some old family items I rounded up from various rooms here.

The little tea set was my grandmother Nora's as a child, as well as a few other items here. The bottle(extras) with the blue glass stopper is filled with Garwood's Lavender Smelling Salts purchased at a stop in Boston. Nora was on her way to Washington D.C. for a High School Class trip, circa 1911 from Washington Academy in East Machias Maine, way, way Downeast.

For the Record,
This day came in very cold and sunny with warming temp. Not warm enough for a complimentary car wash at our Subaru dealer when I got the State Inspection sticker this morning.

Squirrel extra, one of the hungry horde peering in the glass storm door this morning. His wish was granted many time over.

All hands watching Washington D.C.
