the emergence of the flower.....

each year i plant an amaryllis - and each year i am enthralled!   I'm way later than usual....started it before i went in  for surgery and thought it had died, cos i hadn't taken very good care of it....but then a few weeks ago it started growing again!  

physio today and she tortured me longer on the bike!!!   i think i might have over done things yesterday:   vacuumed the house - first time for me in 2 months, we had a cabin to prepare to so i had to make up 2 beds etc., then off to Sydney for a few chores and dinner out!   The usual places were visited and the usual Chinese place was invaded, we had the place to ourselves!  most enjoyable.  but i didn't have a good sleep cos things were hurting...in fact they still are!   taking it easy now!
