Take a walk on the wild side

The snow which fell overnight on Wednesday was delightful and presented some play opportunities for the dogs even though it led to considerable traffic congestion in the area. Today however is another story, after the light snow melt during the day the compressed snow turned to hardened slippery ice which makes dog walks a more necessary hazardous journey than pleasant trip of choice. Today walks were shorter and concentration on the walk more important. We tried a different route so something good came of it. The gaps were filled with some washing, vacuuming and piano practice.

This blip represents a small patch of ice which is replicated the entire length of the road and every pavement in the local area.
