Fly tipping madness

We had a great day with Sophie, George and Philippa with lots of cuddles. Tom got home at lunchtime with news of the move to Cyprus in March.
When we took the dogs for their walk we discovered the latest bit of fly-tipping along the bridle way: a pair of fine stone lions! It is beyond comprehension how someone could go to the trouble of lifting these 3 foot stone beasts, weighing a hundredweight or more, and drop them off along this track. They must be worth several hundred pounds and I would certainly love them. Sadly, they would be too much for our car to transport, or I would take them home in an instant. I just hope someone takes pity on them and gives them a good home.
