Looking for a snack

We had much nicer weather than was originally forecast for today. This afternoon was bright, sunny and very mild but unfortunately also very windy. Even though the wind made it very difficult to get close up shots, I managed to take several on the moments when the wind dropped before picking up again each time.

I ended up with more photos to choose from than I had expected and couldn't make my mind up which one to blip. Eventually I had to ask my mother to help me pick one and her choice was this Wood Pigeon. There are some people who feed the stray cats at the park at this rock, which is a part of an artificial cave and the pigeon was probably looking for some leftovers.
