Hill and Shadow

The sun was very low and this stand of woodland was on the opposite side of a steep valley side from me - so the picture is taken from a slightly strange perspective - appearing to look "down" on it, but actually taken from alongside.   I love the shadow of the treeline on the hillside dusting of snow.
