Stag's Horn Fungus (Xylaria hypoxylon)

I hate this summer/autumn - far too much rain.

You can see here that the ground is saturated and even a few droplets on the fungi at the right.

This fungus is very common in wet places and as its name implies, grows into branches like stags' horns. These specimens are still immature but I will not be around to blip them again later as I am going to visit my mother for a while. Also, the travelling means that I may not blip anything tomorrow - we'll have to wait and see.
