A Very Wet Day

January is soggy, muddy and grey here in the south west of the UK!
But dog and puppy walks must go on, so I get my fresh air and a little exercise for the day! These sparrows were quick to take advantage of the refilled bird feeder, and soon several long-tailed tits arrived (by which time I had put down my camera to get some lunch!)

Village Cafe was a little chilly to start with - the village hall boiler had broken down! But our heating engineer arrived and gradually people began to shed their coats! I noticed that several people had chosen to drink hot chocolate rather than coffee though!
