Heron

My friend R and I went to the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge this morning.  Fairly good weather just a little drizzle and flat light.  We were happy to see numerous bald eagles, heron, hawks, nutria, geese, ducks, swans and sandhill cranes.  I enjoyed watching the northern harrier hunt swooping over the fields very low, picture in extras.  The heron posed the best as usual.  I must get this posted as we are leaving soon for a Portland Trailblazers game (Basketball).  I may have to catch up later tonight with everyone journals and comments.
