My day

Sometimes days with no plans are the best. The only plan we had was a date with Lucy the Labrador. The day wasn’t as nice as forecasted so a visit to Ambleside to get some replacement walking boots. My old scarpas has given up after 20 years of service.
Late lunch and quick shop for dinner on way back home. The day improved so walking pub crawl to get our steps in. Visited the Black Swan which is the only pub I’d never been in.
Then home for fire, dinner and film.
