Dreaming of summer

Cloistered with the seed catalogues on a gloomy afternoon.

Meanwhile, out in the polytunnel, we are trying out a new (to us) system of disinfecting and sterilisation. Ozone. The tunnel is sealed and some kind of machine converts all the oxygen inside it into ozone, which apparently kills everything - mould spores, algae, mites, and the eggs and larvae of the pests which had reached epidemic levels in there, hopefully. Very clever I thought, but time will tell.

This is the crew that came to do it. They apparently have great success with getting rid of moulds in these old houses.
