Home comforts...

.... today was grey & dreicht, a day for staying in rather than venturing out. 

I completed the final lessons in the Introduction to Philosophy mooc I've been doing: this unit was on time travel & the best presented of the 5; others were pitched at quite an advanced level for beginners I felt. 

Whilst listening and getting to grips with grandfather paradoxes and causal chains, I made beetroot & feta soup, a new recipe for me. 

We supped it sat beside the fire reading the Sunday papers, rather enjoyable. Mr T's verdict was that I could make it again - high praise as he isn't a huge beetroot fan, whereas I think it is a most underrated vegetable.
