Finished!!

A couple of hours work this morning saw this play mat finished.

It’s only about 20” x 30” (50 x 75cms), so not very big, but manageable for a 2yr old. The idea is that the pictures can tell stories with all the animals and birds. It is very busy on the upper side, but much calmer on the reverse where Winnie the Pooh and friends are flying kites :0)

I forget to mention yesterday that I listened to a program on BBC radio 4 Moving Pictures, entitled Hanging by Ann West. Of interest to quilters and embroiders. Thanks P for texting to say it was on!!

R called in this afternoon on her way home for a cuppa and catch-up. We were pleased to see her and Amber was so excited!!!!!
