making marks

I've been working off the list lately...all necessary tasks, all things I have chosen to do, some even enjoyable...

I didn't realize how focused I've been until today when I cleared off the table, and got out the materials to make some new work. Not for a show, not for anybody, not for sale. I just made some marks...and then I made some more. I'd forgotten how uplifting it can be to just do something because you want to...
