A beetle looks for pollen on a withered anther of this tulip.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind comments and encouragement, and for the subscriptions. I'm certainly using my camera more regularly than I ever have before. I'll have to see whether I can keep it up. The ideas seem to keep coming, but when I'm busy with other things I'm concerned I'll just be happy snapping, as I have been doing today. I've produced a few images that might have been usable if I'd taken a bit more trouble with them, and today's image was a bit of a fluke as I didn't see the beetle until I downloaded the image.
