Il Prèsnitz alla triestina.

I have been reading about Fruili - Venezia Giulia, a region in the North-eastern part of Italy, the capital of which is Trieste.
One of the local sweet delicacies is a tart known as Prèsnitz.
So I decided to make one. The recipe is easily available on the web (as is everything else in the world).
All I had to do was translate it from Italian.
It is made with walnuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, raisins, butter, honey, orange and lemon flavours, eggs and rum, all encased in puff pastry.

It is a dish usually (but not exclusively) served at Easter, the characteristic shape of the ring reminiscent of the Crown of Thorns
