Progress

I really should have gone for a weekly Blip of the building site opposite but to be honest, it's not that interesting.  It looked like this back at the end of November.

It was Monday.  And that is never easy.  And after waking up on the hour through the night, I was pretty tired this morning.

Got in to a hundred E-Mails in my inbox.

Deleted the 30 that were just circulars and then discovered that I had a heck of a lot to do.  Not least the "we need an automatic fallback program and we need it today" E-Mail from a Senior Manager that left me with no option but to concentrate on that.

I managed to get it done, but it helps absolutely no-one if I keep getting interrupted by people asking "Are you going to get it finished in time?"  If they think I'm not going to get something done on time, then they should get someone they know who will.  I've got plenty of other "Top Priority" problems I could be dealing with, plus I'll remember this for next time.

And after that it was a couple of hours troubleshooting technical problems with my German teacher, and then home to set up my now-working desktop PC.

I'm shattered.  And tomorrow could be equally as exciting.
