Swimming Against the Flow

It has really warmed up overnight. I walk to the main road as there is still some ice with a nice film of water to make it extra slippery on the roads near my house. Cycle in to work. Not as much snow around as there was yesterday, but not taking any chances. Main road all the way.

I walk down to the Water of Leith path as it goes under the Dean Bridge. The rive is quite high from the melt water from the Pentland Hills. The Otter sculpture looks like it is trying to swim against the flow.

The ride home is uneventful. No ice anywhere. The breeze has strengthened though, mild weather for the next couple of days. Hope it doesn't rain.
