A new pub

As part of the New Year’s Resurrection the pub called The Conan Doyle has been temporarily renamed The J. K. Rowling. I think it’s good that the pub has got into the spirit of the event, but it also highlights the fact that women are rarely commemorated for their achievements. The extra is the top of the Scotsman Steps where the balustrade caught my eye reflected in the damp surface of the magnificent rock.
