Jetting upstream

Today l went jetboating up the Matukituki river in the Mount Aspiring National park. We flew along at up to 80k an hour amidst breath taking scenery, scimmiing over shallow beds and flying over rapids. We stopped to take a walk through an ancient beech forest with trees covered in lichen and it was from a bluff here that l took the main photo, the mountain in the distance is Mount Aspiring. Extras include views on the way including Avalanche Glacier with its 400 meter high waterfalls.
