Bagan stupa sunset

After an early morning flight we arrived in Bagan. There are over 2,200 temples and stupas in this area and it would be impossible to see them all.Many were damaged in an earthquake in 1976 but much restoration work is still ongoing.We went to a viewpoint at sunset which gave a great panoramic view over just some of the vast area.
Also visited a lacquer workshop where some beautiful work was produced.
