Day 23: Jacob

We can hardly believe Jacob will be in his first year at high school next week when school resumes after their long summer break, only half a day for his first day, that almost takes me back to his kind days when he went for half a day, seems they break them in gently for high school too...

Some really Happy news today, Mum has decided to stay on here with us after Mike (eldest Son & Partner) flies back to the UK next week, Mum has been dreading leaving Family here it has gone far too quick for her, after both 'boys' had a bit of a chat, Mike suggested that it might be good for Mum to stay on until the weather gets a little warmer at least, maybe mid March? she has a 3 month visa so there is no reason for her going back so soon, that came as a surprise when Mum agreed to stay, we didn't think she would, all her Grandies and Great Grandies are really happy too that they have more time to spend with their Nan.
