Let's try marbling!

Spent afternoon in a friend’s studio where she ran a workshop on the ancient art of marbling. (Think wallpaper. Think William Morris).
 
 
Once we had gone the hang of it, for like all crafts there was a lot of preparation of materials, we were able to produce instant results.
 
Marbling has the same sense of anticipation we used to get  in the old days  of developing photos.
 
Unlike photographs where one exercised tight control over materials marbling relies heavily on “the happy accident”.
 The trick lies in exercising some control over that “happy accident”. See extra photo.
