Sicilian Avenue

Feeling totally overwhelmed and struggling to cope with this sudden turn of events.   

At the end of the day a glimmer of hope that my mother might regain some of her physical and mental capacities came not from any of the care workers and therapists that have tramped through the door in the past few days but from a neighbour who works as a GP.  

A short walk down to High Holborn to go to the bank and pick up some shopping.
