Don’t look at this if you’re my daughter

We didn’t even notice this spider amongst the trees until one of the jungle guides pointed it out. I’m not telling you how big he/she was (the spider not the guide),suffice to say the tree was no sapling. Seems like we have been here for months. We have been lucky enough to see many countries over the last couple of years, this has got to be “top of the pops”. The people are amazing. Just been swimming in the very warm Andaman Sea (it flows into the Bay of Bengal) and are off on another adventure. Back to our favourite restaurant tonight, as an extra our waitress teaches us Thai. Now we know why her nickname is teacher. Hope the weather at home is improving, it looks as thought it’s been quite horrific at times. Can’t remember if I’ve used the extra, it was a door in one of the temples.
